Pharmacology is the branch of pharmaceutical sciences which is concerned with the study of drug or medication action, which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on the cell, tissue, organ or organism. The subject equips the students with the ability to appreciate the establishment of dose, dosage, efficacy and safety of medicines, their mechanisms and disposition.
Students are encouraged to take up short-term projects to go deeper into the subject as well as to attend various seminars and conferences to help build theoretical and practical knowledge.
