The Department of Pharmacognosy of Nitte college of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2019. It’s a place for researchers and Pharma professionals, to study discovery from medicinal plants, with a multifaceted approach combining botanical, phyto chemical, biological, molecular, & computational techniques.
Currently the department handles the courses related to Pharmacognosy in D.Pharm and B. Pharm. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories with all the facilities for isolation, characterization and estimation of phyto-constituents.

Worked as Assistant Professor at MVM College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. Currently working on the jounal to publish an article in International journal of Phramacognosy and Phytochemical Research
