The NSS unit of NCOPS in association with Cytecare Hospitals organized a
commendable blood donation camp that garnered significant participation from
students and faculty. The event, held with meticulous planning and execution,
aimed to address the need for blood reserves while also fostering a sense of
social responsibility among participants. Under the vigilant supervision of
healthcare professionals from Cytecare Hospital, a total of 24 units of blood
were collected. Notably, students and faculty from our sister institutions also
actively participated, underscoring the spirit of solidarity and community
engagement. Beyond merely replenishing blood stocks, the camp served as a platform
to raise awareness about the critical importance of regular blood donation in
saving lives. It left a lasting impression on participants, inspiring them to
continue their philanthropic endeavours and contribute to noble causes. Such
initiatives not only cater to immediate healthcare needs but also play a
pivotal role in cultivating a culture of compassion and service within
educational institutions
