The IIC unit of NCOPS hosted a dynamic 2-day workshop on Prototype/Process Design and Development, featuring  guest speakers Mr. Raja AP, CEO, Cortis Meditech Private Limited, Bangalore, and Dr. Shiv Pratap Singh Yadav, Associate Professor, Industry Institute Coordinator, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NMIT, Bangalore. Mr. Raja AP eloquently elaborated on Cortis' journey, highlighting key phases like idea generation, prototype testing, and strategic execution pivotal for startup success. He emphasized the importance of innovation and improvisation in the design process. Dr. Shiv Pratap Singh Yadav engaged attendees with insights into ATAL Community Innovation Centre's role in advancing Sustainable Development Goals such as zero hunger, poverty eradication, and gender equality, exemplifying design thinking through renowned companies like Apple, Oral B, Airbnb, and UberEATS. This workshop encapsulated innovative approaches in design thinking, enriching participants with actionable strategies for impactful prototyping and development.
